Virtual Prototype Division
Goals: Towards applications of virtual reality and virtual prototype technology in automation engineering, robotics and intelligent instrumentation, the Virtual Prototype Division is engaged in the basic, innovative and prospective research for the design and manufacturing of advanced equipment. Mechanical design, Finite Element Analysis, dynamic, kinematic and simulation based optimization are the main scope. Computer graphics technology is used to integrate the design and analysis of the product parts with digital model established to provide platform for the design, research and optimization of the product. The division aims to provide advanced R&D platform for the small and medium enterprises of Changzhou, and provide technical support to undertake projects in which hi-technology products are developed.
Staff: Currently there are 15 employers, including 5 doctors and 8 masters.
Precision Manufacturing and Detecting Division
The division aims to develop theory, technique, and method in precision manufacturing and detecting, and is devoted to the research for novel manufacturing method, development of jigs of high precision, design and manufacturing of mold with high precision, manufacturing method of core parts with high precision, etc.. New methods and techniques are being used to promote the technical level of traditional manufacturing, thus enhancing the advanced equipment industry in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone.
Staff: Currently there are 15 employers, including 3 with post graduate degree and 2 technicians.
